Sometimes visitors try to navigate to a web page and fail to do so. Because, in fact, a web page with such a URL does not exist. Users may make a typo in the URL or click on an outdated link.

But a good site is ready for this. It recognizes this as "Error 404: Page Not Found". Users will see the 404 page and understand what happened.

Situation resolved, right? Not certainly in that way. After all, the site visitor has not yet found the desired page. When he sees the "Page not found" information, then users will probably just leave the site.

But what if instead we created a custom 404 page that makes you feel welcome, gets you to the right place quickly, or even just smiles? This will provide the best user experience when a pleasant experience of interacting with the site improves the overall relationship to the web resource.
